At the heart of the order of Special Master lies the alleged refusal of KPPB law to return a full set of accurate TRG files and emails.

The Radiology Group LLC, a global provider of radiology services, today announced that a special master has been ordered by Judge Julie Jacobs of Cobb county in the ongoing civil lawsuit against KPPB Law, one of the largest Indian Atlanta-based law firms, alleging fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of the duty of loyalty.
The complaint alleges that KPPB Law failed to meet obligations owed to The Radiology Group LLC in connection with its legal representation and related professional services.

The Radiology Group LLC alleges that the firm’s conduct with its favored client Vikas Verma caused substantial financial and operational harm to the company. The complaint alleges that”secret meetings and hidden communications “ were occurring between KPPB and Vikas Verma to the detriment of TRG.
“This action was not taken lightly,” said a spokesperson forThe Radiology Group LLC. “As a healthcare-services organization operating in a highly regulated, high-stakes environment, we depend on legal counsel to act with competence, transparency, loyalty, and undivided attention to our interests. We believe the facts will demonstrate that these fundamental obligations were not met.”
The lawsuit seeks appropriate legal and equitable relief, including compensatory damages, consequential damages where permitted by law, recovery of fees and costs, and any other relief the court determines is just and proper. “The special master will be instrumental in correcting discovery issues in relation to TRG files and KPPB internal email correspondences about TRG and its confidential affairs” its attorney stated.

The Radiology Group LLC provides radiology and imaging-related professional services to healthcare organizations and patients across multiple markets globally. The company remains focused on continuity of operations, clinical quality, service to its clients, and the protection of its business interests.
“While litigation is ongoing, The Radiology Group LLC will pursue this matter through the judicial process and will continue to hold KPPB accountable to the professional standards required by law,” a spokesperson stated.
